A new regular feature will be hitting my blog this month. Each month I will be blogging about a landscape architecture project (LAP) located in and around Knoxville, TN. Each blog will provide a general overview of the project, a variety of details, the design phase, the construction phase, and any other items of importance. Each of these articles will also take a moment to highlight the Landscape Architect for the project as well as their part on the project. I hope that this series will increase awareness of the importance of landscape architecture in our communities and showcase the amazing works which are scattered throughout our city.
The first project which will be released in the next week or two is the John J. Duncan Jr. Knoxville Station Transit Center. I will be highlighting the works of Ben J. Pethel, PLA, ASLA of The Penland Studio.
As always, be sure to 'like' the post, leave comments, and mention any projects which you would like to see covered in my future posts.
Thanks for reading.
