Site up and running and on my way to Italy...

Hi everyone. I hope that you are starting your summer off with a bang! The site seems to be up and running smoothly except for a few bugs here and there. I am hopeful that these will be ironed out in the next month as I find time.

Look for some new things to take place on my site over the next year. I am hoping to start creating video tutorials which will be hosted on my YouTube site and embedded on this website. You can plan on seeing everything from basics to advanced techniques on common architectural software and image editing software. I hope to partner with quite a few of my classmates in creating these. The tutorials will range from basic PDF's with screen shots and typed instructions to video animated tutorials. This is new ground for me so I am very excited to see how this turns out. Mostly, I hope to learn just as much as you all in this process.

Having placed the first year of Landscape Architecture Graduate School under my belt, I now have a fairly solid foundation which will inform my future postings and designs. It is my aim to increase the quality of this site and my other outlets on line. (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tumblr, Flickr, Pinterest, Land8, Issuu, Linked In, Vimeo, etc.)

Over the next two weeks I will be in Italy traveling with the college and exploring the gardens of central Italy. We will visit Rome, Tivoli, Florence, Venice, and more. I will try my best to keep posting during this time. To see daily postings of our groups travels visit the blog at the end of this posting.

Well that is it for today. I look forward to bringing you a variety of material related to Landscape Architecture over the next year. Please comment on any portion of the site and make suggestions as to the types of tutorials which you would like to see.
